Zach Brien is a photojournalist from New Orleans, Louisiana currently based in Washington, D.C. He is a former photo intern at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. In May of 2021, he graduated from George Washington University with a masters in new media photojournalism. He received his bachelor's in mass communications with a minor in New Orleans studies from Loyola University New Orleans in 2016.


He has worked for the the Hatchet, the Washington Blade, New Orleans Advocate, Antigravity Magazine, NOLA Messenger, and more as a photographer and reporter. He also has experience as a wedding, editorial and portrait photographer. Going forward, he looks to continue his career in daily news as a photojournalist.
