Zach Brien is a photojournalist from New Orleans, LA. His work adheres to one simple thing: "people doing things," something developed thanks to the work of photographers Robert Frank, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Doug Mills, Jim Marshall, John McCusker, David Grunfeld, Michael P. Smith, Harold Baquet and countless others. This guiding principle also comes from his love of news, community news, live music and sports.

He is currently at George Washington University, pursuing his masters in new media photojournalism. He is also a photography intern at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, working alongside their staff photographer, Britt Leckman.  He studied mass communications with a concentration in journalism at Loyola University New Orleans, class of 2016. He also works for private clients, shooting events, weddings, concerts and more.
